The Panasonic 7″ Toughpad FZ-B2 is an Android 6.0 tablet that is designed to survive 5′ drops, prevent liquid and dust ingress, and withstand both high and low temperatures. The Android-based operating system runs on an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 quad-core processor, operating between 1.44 and 2.4 GHz, along with 2GB of SDRAM. The tablet has 32GB of eMMC storage and a microSDHC slot for supporting memory card capacities of up to 32GB. For visuals, it sports a 7″ touch display that supports 10-point gestures and offers a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, driven by an integrated Intel HD Graphics 400 chipset. Moreover, the screen features a brightness level of up to 500 cd/mÿ² for daylight readability.
The Toughpad FZ-B2 connects to networks via 802.11ac and provides Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity for wireless access to headsets and keyboards. For wired connections, the tablet is equipped a USB 3.0 Type-C port, a headphone jack, and a security cable lock slot. To conduct face-to-face conversions, the tablet is armed with a 720p front-facing camera, a speaker, and a pair of microphones.
