FLIR Thermal Imaging
The built-in FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal sensor is an ideal tool for use in professional applications. Craftsmen can inspect structures and check for thermal losses, security experts can remotely monitor hot spots and fires, technicians can inspect solar panels, and environmental protection officers can keep tabs on animal populations. These are just some of the many tasks made possible, and easier to accomplish, with the FLIR Lepton sensor.
Specifically, the FLIR sensor is capable of capturing a 57° field of view and thermal sensitivity of <50mK. The sensor is capable of both MP4 h.264 video at 1440 x 1080 resolution, and JPEG still images at resolutions up to 3264 x 2448. When shooting thermal stills, you can choose from three different modes:
Single: Takes one picture at a time
Time-lapse: Takes a picture every “x” seconds (fully customizable)
GPS-lapse: Takes a picture every “x” meters (fully customizable)
180° Tilt Gimbal
With the ability to go from -90 to +90 degrees, this gimbal lets you take impressive low-angle shots, helping to make your videos stand out and opening a host of filming possibilities.
Digital Zoom
Anafi lets you get close while staying safe by giving you the ability to digitally zoom in up to 3x on your subject in all resolutions. The Anafi Thermal also provides lossless digital zooming to retain as much detail as possible. Up to 2.8x in Full HD 1080p resolutions, up to 1.9x in 2.7K, and up to 1.4x in Ultra HD 4K.
Foldable Skycontroller 3 Included
Working with your Android or iOS smartphone and the FreeFlight 6 app, the compact and ergonomic Skycontroller 3 lets you take full control of Anafi Thermal’s capabilities. Dual thumbsticks let you pilot the Anafi Thermal, and FreeFlight 6 gives you a variety of flight solutions that are adaptable to your level of expertise. With a single tap of the screen, you can switch between visible and thermal recording, and you can preview thermal images right in the app.
In-App Thermal Image Analysis
In the FreeFlight 6 app you get three customizable color palettes for your thermal imaging:
Absolution: Color scale from 14 to 284°F in high gain, or 14 to 752°F in low gain (temperature range is customizable).
Relative: Automatic color rescaling from the minimum to the maximum temperatures of the scene (highlights details with more precision).
Spot: Highlights the highest or lowest temperatures of the scene. This is customizable and can be kept on the screen at all times.
Dual-Band Transmission System
Anafi Thermal features a 2.4/5 GHz dual-band antenna in each leg to help maintain connection for HD streaming from up to 2.5 miles away.
Safe Flight Features
Geofence: Lets you define your very own virtual perimeter that stops the Anafi Thermal from flying out of a designated area.
Smart RTH (Return to Home): If the drone ever loses connection or if the battery life is low, it will automatically come back to its starting point.
Find My Drone: Should you lose sight of your drone, you can easily make it beep at the tap of a button or find it on the map to locate and retrieve it.
