SPC Album Express 5 LAB (Download)

This electronic download of Album Express 5 LAB from SPC is standalone album design and creation software for both Windows and Mac that gives you all of the necessary tools for creating custom albums. It features numerous libraries featuring different templates, clipart, frames, backgrounds, masks, and more. It even has the ability to automatically determine the proper compositions for your album and layout photos for your project, dramatically speeding up the process. The LAB version of Album Express 5 is made up two parts, Laboratory and Client. Laboratory is designed to allow print shops and other locations manage the workflow and be able to provide licensed Client versions of the software that are intended for clients and customers to use for work. Then, the clients will save coded projects to be sent back to the user of the Laboratory software, which is the only place the files can be opened, for final printing.

Album Express 5 LAB has built-in photo editing functions in order to make adjustments to your images and it will also work with external editors. This allows you to work on photos in your preferred software with ease. Also, in case you want to change templates mid-project you easily can, and it will automatically restructure image placement. There are even layers for making advanced edits to specific objects throughout your design.

For finishing your project, the software lets you create low resolution PDF previews for sending to clients before final prints. Additionally, you will still be able to select color profiles and finalize in a range of common file types.

Designed for Labs
This version of the software is designed to allow printing labs to supply licensed copies of the software to clients via download or on CD/DVD. This allows the clients to work on albums and then create specially coded project files that can then be sent to the lab for printing. These projects are only able to be opened by the lab, as the functionality of the client’s version of the software is purposely limited. Also, a logo, website, preset sizes for albums and prints, and FTP information is required for receiving the customized version for your lab.

With huge graphics libraries you will be able to create unique albums in every project you work on. Also, you can purchase additional graphics for finding just what you need for your current project.
Auto Composition
This software can automatically place photographs in a template or design in order to quickly give you a complete draft of the album. It will even still work if you decide to swap out a template during the project.
Advanced Photo Editing
With built-in photos and effects editors, you are able to directly edit photographs and images you place in your design. The software is compatible with external editors as well, so you can perform more advanced corrections in your preferred style.
Tools and Layers
Featuring layer functionality, you have access to a variety of tools and advanced effects by applying specific edits to certain objects without affecting others. This lets you create detailed, professional-looking albums.
Export Options
Album Express utilizes the memory of your computer for fast rendering. You can select a color profile and export in JPG, PSD, PDF, or PNG file formats for compatibility. Also, you can create low-resolution PDF previews when needed.
