Sound beam width control
Thanks to its adjustable acoustic lens, the BeoLab 50 can change its sound characteristics, adapting them to suit the listening position. For the classic “best place”, the moving side faces of the acoustic lens narrow and direct a straight and narrow sound beam towards the preferred listening position. For parties with many guests dancing or gathering in front of the TV, the bottom line opens to fill the whole room with sound.
Active room compensation
Using an external microphone connected to the speaker, Active Room Compensation technology measures the acoustic characteristics of the room and creates a set of custom filters that compensate for reflections from walls and furniture in different listening areas. The result is superb reproduction.

BeoLab 50 uses familiar control methods. Acoustics fully interacts with your BeoVision TV using BeoRemote One. You can also use the Bang & Olufsen App on your phone or tablet to quickly set up and access your saved presets, adjust settings, and create new favorites lists.
Sound without additional equipment
Thanks to seven built-in special amplifiers, you do not need a separate amplifier, and you are also spared the heap of audio cables. Just plug it into an electrical outlet and the BeoLab 50 is ready to go.
