DJI Inspire 2 Professional Combo

Designed to capture professional-quality aerial footage, the DJI Inspire 2 Professional Combo features the magnesium-aluminum-clad Inspire 2 quadcopter with an Apple ProRes license, a Zenmuse X5S gimbal that can capture at up to 5.2K resolution, and a host of accessories. Capturing more footage each flight is possible thanks to two CINESSD drives, with 480GB of storage space. The video you capture can be finely controlled with the included Focus Handwheel 2, which gives you the ability to dial-in focus, aperture, and zoom adjustments. All the recording functionality of the Inspire 2 is processed by the CineCore 2.0 image-processing engine.

With the ability to accelerate to 50 mph in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 58 mph, the Inspire 2 can follow fast-moving subjects for dramatic sports and action footage. With the two included LiPo batteries onboard, up to 27 minutes of flight time can be achieved on a full charge. The Inspire 2 also supports obstacle avoidance.

Built into DJI’s FlightAutonomy system, objects in front of, below, and above the quadcopter can be detected and avoided automatically. The Inspire 2 can even remember flight paths in case of an emergency return-to-home without GPS enabled. Using the onboard 2-axis stabilized FPV camera, the pilot can navigate the Inspire 2 without being limited to the gimbal camera’s field of view.

DJI Inspire 2 Quadcopter with Apple ProRes License
DJI’s magnesium-aluminum-clad Inspire 2 Quadcopter with Apple ProRes License is a powerful cinematic and photographic tool. Combining the Inspire 2 with the separately available X4S and X5S gimbal cameras yields cinema-grade images, which can be recorded in high bit rates using H.264 and H.265 formats, or, in the case of the X5R, various flavors of Apple ProRes with the included license. All the recording functionality is processed by the Inspire 2’s CineCore 2.0 image processing engine.

Not all the power to be found in the Inspire 2 is in the recording functionality. DJI beefed up the flight capabilities of the Inspire 2. Able to accelerate to 50 mph in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 58 mph, the Inspire 2 can follow fast-moving subjects for dramatic sports and action footage. The flight prowess of the Inspire 2 doesn’t come at the expense of battery life. With the two included LiPo batteries onboard, up to 27 minutes of flight time can be had on a full charge.

Apple ProRes Included
This version of the DJI Inspire 2 quadcoper comes with a license for Apple ProRes. The included activation key lets you utilize Apple ProRes within CineCore 2.0. This license is unlocked permanently, and is meant to provide you with Hollywood-grade video format compatibility in post-production. With Apple ProRes, you get to utilize the following capabilities:

Advanced Obstacle Sensing
Forward and downward vision systems enable the Inspire 2 to detect obstacles up to 30 meters ahead, allowing for protected flight at up to 34 mph at a controllable attitude angle of 25°. Upward-facing infrared sensors scan obstacles 16′ above, adding protection when flying in enclosed spaces. Obstacle-sensing systems are active during normal flight, RTH, and all Intelligent Flight Modes.
Spotlight Pro
Spotlight Pro is a powerful tracking mode that allows even single pilots to capture complex, dramatic images. It uses advanced, visual-tracking algorithms to lock onto a subject during flight, regardless of the direction that the Inspire 2 flies, creating shots that would once have required a dedicated camera operator. If the gimbal comes close to reaching its rotation limits, the Inspire 2 itself will rotate in the same direction without affecting flight control or the shot being captured to free up gimbal movement.

Spotlight Pro has two shooting modes: Quick Mode and Composition Mode. In Quick Mode, select an object to begin tracking. In Composition Mode, select the subject and the tracking position. When the subject enters the preset tracking position, press the shortcut to begin tracking. The gimbal can be moved during shooting for composition adjustments. Spotlight Pro is available in all Intelligent Flight Modes including ActiveTrack, TapFly, Waypoint and Point of Interest.
TapFly
The 2-axis onboard FPV camera separates the flight view from the main camera view, effectively giving the Inspire 2 a dedicated “tap-to-fly” camera. Tap a point onscreen in the FPV view to set a flight route and the Inspire 2 will automatically fly along that route, leaving the pilot to focus on gimbal movement.
ActiveTrack
The ActiveTrack Mode allows the Inspire 2 to recognize a range of objects, from people to bikes to cars to boats. Tracking profiles that can be adjusted based on the subject being tracked means greater tracking precision.
Smart Return Home
Forward and downward vision systems allow the Inspire 2 to create a real-time map of its flight route as it flies. If the video transmission system signal is lost and Smart Return Home is enabled, it is able to fly home along its original route and change to a straight line when it regains a signal. As it returns, it will use the primary camera to identify obstacles as far as 200m in front, allowing it to plan a safe route home. It is also able to reconnect more quickly after losing connection.
Video Transmission System
The Inspire 2 features DJI’s Lightbridge technology. This iteration has an effective transmission distance of up to 4.3 miles (under ideal conditions) and is capable of delivering both 1080p/720p video as well as the FPV view to pilot and camera operator. Users can also switch between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz control frequencies to avoid interference for greater signal stability.

Master and Slave setups are also supported. The master controller can transmit an HD video signal to the slave controller up to 300′ away without image quality loss.
Broadcast Mode
Broadcasters can broadcast direct from the Inspire 2 using its dedicated 1080i50 and 720p60 transmission signal. Aerial live-streaming direct to TV is as simple as connecting the Inspire 2 transmitter to the satellite truck.
Powerful Flight Performance
The propulsion system can thrust the Inspire 2 up to 58 mph and allows for descents at up to 29 feet-per-second and ascents at up to 19 feet-per-second. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 mph in just four seconds and flies at a max attitude angle of 40°. The two controller sticks on the transmitter are tuned for more sensitivity, making delicate maneuvers easier.
Dual Battery Design
Dual batteries mean that, if a problem occurs on one battery, the other is able to continue flight long enough for a safe landing. At the same time, the Inspire 2 propulsion system is driven a PWM signal with serial port signal redundancy so that if PWM signals are lost, transmission will continue through the serial port.
DJI Zenmuse X5S
Equipped with an uprated Micro 4/3 sensor, the DJI Zenmuse X5S has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops with a much improved signal to noise ratio and color sensitivity than the X5R. Included here are the gimbal, camera, and lens.

The new CineCore 2.0 image processing system on the Inspire 2 makes the Zenmuse X5S capable of capturing 5.2K 30fps CinemaDNG video and Apple ProRes video, as well as 4K 60fps using H.264 and 4K 30fps using H.265 (both at 100Mbps). Continuous DNG burst shooting at 20fps with 20.8MP images is also supported. The Zenmuse X5S was designedto keep pace with the rigors of high-end professional aerial imaging.

DJI CINESSD for Inspire 2 Quadcopter (240GB)
The 240GB DJI CINESSD allows you to record video from your Inspire 2 at write speeds of up to 4.2 Gbps. When used with your Inspire 2, you can choose to record to CinemaDNG or Apple ProRes formats, but please note that either format requires an additional license key purchase from DJI. The CINESSD uses an NVMe logical device interface specification, features four PCI Express ports, and supports FAT32/exFAT file formats. Once the CINESSD is installed in your Inspire 2, settings and information can be accessed through the DJI GO 4 application, including resolution and field-of-view options. To export footage from your CINESSD to your computer for editing, you will also need a DJI CINESSD Station (sold separately).

DJI CINESSD Station for Inspire 2 Quadcopter (USB 3.0)
The DJI CINESSD Station is used to connect the DJI CINESSD into a computer for fast, efficient file transfer. Simply remove the CINESSD from your Inspire 2 quadcopter, insert it into the CINESSD Station, then connect the station to a computer via the included USB 3.0 cable. Once connected, you’ll be able to export the data from CINESSD onto your computer.

DJI CrystalSky 7.85″ High-Brightness Monitor
Flying drones in their natural outdoor environment requires a bright display, like the DJI CrystalSky 7.85″ High-Brightness Monitor for unhindered daylight viewing. The 1000 cd/m² bright touchscreen LCD screen is daylight viewable without requiring a hood. More than a monitor specifically designed for DJI products, the CrystalSky runs an Android OS and only comes loaded with the apps necessary for operating DJI devices. You won’t find any spam applications to slow the device down. Plus, the hardware is optimized for decoding video transmitted by DJI devices, reducing lag and improving picture quality. Aside from the streamlined interface, the CrystalSky acts as a mobile device with all the necessary DJI apps pre-loaded.

Note: The CrystalSky includes two Intelligent Batteries and a two-bay charging dock that requires a separately available charger. Chargers from the Inspire (1/2) and Phantom (3/4) will work. 57W Osmo and Phantom chargers don’t supply enough power to charge both the batteries and other devices simultaneoulsy. The Mavic Pro charger is not compatible.

Smooth Video Monitoring
The CrystalSky monitor uses optimized video decoding to decode video in real-time. Due to limitations in software access on smartphones and tablets, the video decoding abilities of other smart devices might be less than ideal. When used to view photos or videos transmitted by the camera, problems can occur including video jitter, unacceptably long latency, and more. The CrystalSky monitor’s optimized decoder provides smooth, real-time video feedback from compatible drones with minimal latency.
Dual microSD Card Recording
Load up microSD cards to expand the CrystalSky’s storage. Video can be recorded in H.264 or H.265 formats. With the ability to play back and edit 4K recorded video inside the CrystalSky, you can quickly share high-quality edited footage. Video can also be played back through the onboard HDMI output.
I/O and Network Connectivity
The CrystalSky monitor’s HDMI port allows up to 4K video to be output to FPV goggles and other display devices. Built-in dual band Wi-Fi means it can connect to Wi-Fi networks and Wi-Fi hotspots from mobile devices, and it is also compatible with 4G dongles and USB storage through its USB Type-A port.

When connected to the Internet, the CrystalSky monitor gets easy access to system upgrades, livestreaming, photo or video sharing, data synchronization, and more. File sizes are optimized as much as possible to minimize mobile data demands.

Onboard micro-USB and USB Type-C ports make it convenient to connect the CrystalSky monitor with a remote controller or other devices.

DJI TB50 Intelligent Flight Battery for Inspire 2 Quadcopter / Ronin 2 Gimbal
The DJI TB50 Intelligent Flight Battery is a replacement battery for your Inspire 2 quadcopter and is also compatible with the Ronin 2 gimbal. Like the battery that came with your Inspire 2, this is a 4280mAh, lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) battery that yields between 25 and 27 minutes of flight time, depending on conditions and which Zenmuse system you use.

In addition to enhanced flight time, the Intelligent Flight Battery uses a built-in 70W self-heating system capable of heating itself to 41°F every minute. This self-heating function can be enabled either automatically or manually. The management unit constantly monitors battery status, making all information, including battery level and battery temperature, easily visible in the DJI GO app.
