Bring your remote employees into the office or distance learning students into the classroom with the Double 3 Telepresence Robot from Double Robotics. Unlike its predecessor the Double 2, the Double 3 no longer requires an iPad for control and comes with its own head and software system to allow remote control of the robot.
The Double 3’s head features two 13MP cameras with a wide field of view, as well as a unified pan, tilt, and zoom system. Its click-to-drive interface allows you to choose locations and the robot can travel there automatically. With lateral stability control, the robot won’t fall over and can go over common obstacles found in offices, such as cords and bumps.
The always-on floor view with obstacle avoidance increases spatial awareness without the need to switch views. The robot can roam the office for 6 to 8 hours per charge (may vary depending on usage). When it’s running low on power, you can charge the battery in 3 hours. It comes with a charging dock to quickly charge.
