HTC Vive Cosmos VR Headset

Designed for an immersive virtual reality experience, the HTC Vive Cosmos VR Headset features a total resolution of 2880 x 1700, an 88% increase over the original Vive.

In addition to the increased resolution, the Vive Cosmos also features RGB LCD panels with increased subpixels for 40% improved lens clarity over the original Vive. Interpupillary distance (IPD) is the distance between your eyes. Since everyone is different, HTC includes an adjustable dial to help customize your VR experience. With six cameras, the Vive Cosmos no longer requires external base stations because it utilizes inside-out tracking.

HTC also improved the fit and functionality with the Vive Cosmos. The flip-up design allows you to conveniently snap back into reality to answer texts, check your surroundings, and more. The balanced, lightweight design of the headband and headset makes it comfortable to use. HTC will also allow you to future-proof the Vive Cosmos with next-gen faceplate mods (sold separately).

The Vive Cosmos is fully compatible with the Vive Wireless Adapter (sold separately).

Included with the Vive Cosmos is a 12-month subscription to VIVEPORT Infinity, which has over 700+ VR games and apps. This subscription is only included with pre-orders.

The Vive Cosmos has a total resolution of 2880 x 1700, which is 1440 x 1700 per eye. The displays also feature RGB LCD panels with increased subpixels for more lens clarity. Coupled with a 90 Hz refresh rate and an adjustable IPD dial, the Vive Cosmos provides a high-res, smooth virtual reality experience.
Six Cameras and Inside-Out Tracking
With six cameras, the Vive Cosmos has a wide tracking field of view and utilizes inside-out tracking, removing the need for additional external base stations.
On-Ear Headphones
The Vive Cosmos comes with two on-ear headphones with sound isolation.
Flip-Up Design
Engineered for comfort and convenience, the display of the Vive Cosmos can flip up so you can snap back to reality.
