Panasonic Technics OTTAVA S SC-C50 Wireless Speaker System

Enjoy wireless connectivity and Google Assistant support with the Panasonic Technics OTTAVA S SC-C50 Wireless Speaker System. It outputs up to 75W of total power using its 4.72″ woofer and three coaxially mounted 0.63″ tweeters and 2.56″ mid-woofers. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, and more technologies allow you to pair and wirelessly stream music from your compatible devices, such as smartphones or tablets. The Technics OTTAVA S SC-C50 also features an 1/8″ and an optical input for wired devices.

Four JENO Engines
Four onboard JENO Engines (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization) help produce optimal performance with enhanced sound imaging through its woofer, mid-woofer, and tweeter alignment.
LAPC Technology
LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration) is designed to measure the amp’s frequency amplitude phase characteristics with speakers connected to the unit and perform digital signal processing to help it achieve the ideal impulse response. Characteristic parameters optimized for the low-frequency and high-frequency driver characteristics are already pre-set in the LAPC computation circuit to help the speaker achieve ideal frequency and phase characteristics over the entire frequency range.
Space Tune
This feature is designed to optimize the listening environment to the speaker’s sound space. In addition to providing three preset modes to suit its installation location, a microphone built into the speaker enables an Auto function to optimize the sound, and an iOS device can also be used to measure and adjust the frequency response with greater precision, allowing you to enjoy higher sound quality, regardless of where the speaker is placed.
Enhanced Compatibility
In addition to USB playback and an 1/8″ and optical input, the Technics OTTAVA S supports Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Internet Radio, and network playback, allowing for a variety of source options.
Wide Soundstage
The arc-shaped body houses three tweeters, three midrange drivers, and a woofer, while left- and right-facing drivers and the forward-facing driver help create rich stereo imaging and crisp vocals. A “directivity-control horn” is designed to eliminate mutual driver interference for wide directivity, and a coaxial midrange and teeter help ensure vertical directivity with less frequency disorder.
Powerfully Designed
Three 0.63″ tweeters deliver high-res sound up to 50 kHz. This combines with a front-firing 4.72″ long-stroke woofer and a straight, large-diameter long port. A total of seven drivers in the rigid, glass-fiber-reinforced body help produce powerful sound from the onboard amplifier.
Twin Power Supply Circuit System
This power supply system includes independently installed switch-mode power supply circuitry for the amp and the other circuits, which helps to eliminate mutual interference, reducing degradation of sound quality caused by noise or power supply fluctuations. Additionally, a layout with dedicated transformer and amp circuits enables the shortest possible connection to further reduce noise.
Chromecast built-in
The Chromecast built-in function supports a variety of music streaming services for easy casting from a compatible smartphone app. Since the data is streamed directly to the speaker, there is virtually no degradation in sound quality.
Works with the Google Assistant
If a Google Assistant-enabled device is connected on the same network, the Google Assistant can be used to operate the OTTAVA S SC-50 music playback and other functions. When you don’t have a smartphone app in-hand, or when your hands are full, music can be easily played by voice command.
Sleek Design
The Technics OTTAVS S features an aluminum top panel designed to augment the rigidity of the chassis, and the OLED is surround by ring keys for easy operation. Rear louvers enhance the function of the internal heat-reducing mechanism, and its arced design helps eliminate unwanted vibration and standing waves in the chassis. Acoustic technology also allows it to achieve a wide soundstage, letting you place it nearly anywhere.
Multiroom and Stereo Pairing, Available via a Future Firmware Update
Following a future firmware update, and with the Google Home App and additional optional Chromecast built-in speakers, you can enjoy your music streaming services in several rooms, or different music can be played in different rooms. Additionally, if you use the Technics Audio Center app and have other compatible Technics devices, you can also enjoy wired, USB, Bluetooth, and Internet Radio sources in multiple rooms. Two Technics OTTAVA S SC-C50 speakers can also be paired together for true stereo sound.
